By cold pressing the finest raw organic cacao beans to extract the rich natural oils, our Cacao Butter brings its superior taste and velvety texture to all your creations.

Power Super Foods' Cacao butter is chipped and easy to grate, chop, or melt into a sublime glossy liquid. Make your own white chocolate or add our Cacao Gold Powder for a decadent dark chocolate.

Cacao (pronounced ka-kow) beans are the seeds of an Amazonian fruiting tree and source of all chocolate and cocoa products. Pulverising our raw Nibs separates them into creamy Cacao Butter and beautiful rich, raw Cacao Powder. As the temperature is never allowed to exceed 40°C, the powder is considered a ‘raw' food with all heat-sensitive vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants remaining intact, thereby maximising digestion and absorption. In fact, our blend of Peruvian and West African powder has over 360% MORE antioxidants than regular cocoa !!

It takes 2.5 - 3 pounds of beans to make just one pound of cocoa butter. Most cocoa butter is extracted at high heat, sometimes using solvents, thus destroying the Vitamin E content and often has pesticide residue, but not ours! (It's certified organic AND Australian Customs regularly test it on import).

Cacao Butter is the edible natural fat of the chocolate bean, cold pressed to retain its nutritional properties and exquisite natural aroma and flavour. It's traditionally been used as a rich natural moisturiser; as a sexy and decadent massage oil; for soothing babies sore bums; in organic- based cosmetics like lipstick and balm, and in luxury soapmaking.

Suggested Uses

Raw Foodists love it !! Use instead of butter on toast etc, or warm gently until soft (melting point approx 35C / 95 F), then add as desired to raw foodist concoctions like bliss balls or ice cream, chocolate creations, smoothies or desserts - or smear on skin and lips for the ultimate moisturiser.
